Code Card CRI isn’t an actual playable Pokémon TCG card in decks—it’s just a code card from the Crimson Invasion (CRI) set used to unlock a digital booster pack in Pokémon TCG Online/Live—so it has no Energy cost, no in-game effect, and doesn’t benefit any deck strategy. Because it isn’t a real Trainer, Pokémon, or Energy card, there are no “better” alternatives in terms of gameplay; it simply functions as a redemption code for online packs. As such, it should not and cannot see play in any competitive or casual deck, since it isn’t a legal card for matches.
