The Pokémon World Championship 2023 in Yokohama will feature several different events for guests to enjoy!
The full convention, which is set to happen from August 8th to August 14th, is the pinnacle of competitive and casual Pokémon play, including tournaments for many Pokémon titles, such as Scarlet & Violet, Pokémon UNITE, Pokémon GO and Pokémon TCG.
Besides these competitions, The Pokémon Company also prepared several events to entertain all guests in Yokohama. All these events are free, but there is a lottery system for reservations. Guests will get to pick their top three preferred dates and times for most of these events, and you can also reserve only a certain number of guests to go with you.

The reservations will only be open until July 3rd. Results will be posted on July 13th.
There are certain events which don't require reservation: Pikachu Gathering, the Pokémon Trainer Cruise, and Pokégenic. The "Pokémon x NHK Symphony Special Orchestra" event will have separate tickets, apart from the rest of the events.
Check out below all events announced!
Pokémon Matsuri Park
A Japanese styled summer festival will take place at Rinko Park. For this event, many stalls will be set up, with activities inspired by the video game titles, including "Magikarp Fishing" and "Poké Ball Throw". There will also be a Bon Dance around a beautiful yagura stage with tracks from the game titles, and taiko drum performances.
We Move!! (Pokémon Fantastic Live Show)
This seems to be an event centered around some Pikachu dancing.
Imagination! Into the Next!! (Pokémon Fantastic Live Show)
This seems to be another show with several different Pokémon: Pikachu, Lucario, Greninja, and others.
Pikachu Gathering!! (Pokémon Fantastic Live Show)
A Parade of Pikachu will be the theme of this show.
Let's Celebrate! The Pokémon Parade!! (Pokémon Fantastic Live Show)
Another dance parade will take place on Monday, August 14th. Pikachu, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly are directly mentioned to be included, alongside other rare Pokémon. This will take place on the final day of the convention, so it is bound to be very special.
Pokémon Trainer Cruise
This luxury cruise ship will be available for touring, and it is described as one of the places to meet other players and battle or trade. The ship is called the NIPPON MARU.
Pokégenic
These photo exhibitions will be up across Yokohama, and the official site instructs guests to play and take photos of their own.
Pokémon Center
The Pokémon Center Worlds Store will be open for fans exclusively during the tournament, as it is the first time it is held in Japan. There will be two lines of World Championships-exclusive merchandise and a curated selection of products from Pokémon Center.
In the picture, the Yokohama Pikachu Deck is featured, as it will be one of the exclusive products.
