About Mysterious Fossil FO 62

Mysterious Fossil FO 62, Trainer, designed by Keiji Kinebuchi first released in May, 2022 in the set Fossil.

This Mysterious Fossil card could benefit a deck that relies on evolving Pokémon quickly, as it essentially acts as a placeholder for a Basic Pokémon until its evolution can be played. However, in competitive play, there are better options such as Rare Candy which allows for an immediate evolution without the need for a placeholder card. Mysterious Fossil could still see play in specific decks that require additional consistency in evolving Pokémon, but its usefulness may be limited compared to other options available.

Play Mysterious Fossil as if it were a Basic Pokémon. While in play, Mysterious Fossil counts as a Pokémon (instead of a Trainer card). Mysterious Fossil has no attacks, can't retreat, and can't be Asleep, Confused, Paralyzed, or Poisoned. If Mysterious Fossil is Knocked Out, it doesn't count as a Knocked Out Pokémon. (Discard it anyway.) At any time during your turn before your attack, you may discard Mysterious Fossil from play.
