Best Decks - Secluded Springs Meta
The Secluded Springs meta is relatively stable now, so we finally know for certain what the best decks are and what the competitive meta looks like.
In this article, we'll show you the best decks in the format and why they're so strong right now. Spoiler: Giratina ex is back... Again.
Suicune ex & Greninja with Giratina ex

Suicune ex didn't look like the strongest legendary Ultrabeast when it was released, but it actually adapted really well to the meta. In fact, it adapted better than all other Pokémon ex. The main reason behind this is that it is a Water Pokémon like Greninja.
This combination is extremely simple and strong. These two Pokémon, with Giratina ex, practically play the game by themselves.
Furthermore, Irida is also stealing the spotlight again as a strong healing trainer in this list. She often saves all your Pokémon at the right time.
Please note that you should only use Water energies in this deck if you want it to be as consistent as possible.
Oricorio, Greninja, & Giratina ex

This is an alternative version of the deck above. The main difference between them is that you don't use any Psychic energies in this one. Instead, you only use Electric and Water energies.
That's because this deck plays Oricorio as its main attacker. To complement its damage and deal sniper damage, it also plays Greninja.
Giratina ex is the third win condition in this version. It is a late-game option if everything you tried to play failed or if you're playing a tough matchup. If you're facing a strategy that doesn't focus on Pokémon ex, Oricorio will probably not be that effective. And that's when Giratina ex enters.
This deck is relatively fast but doesn't deal that much damage. Nonetheless, it is immune to strategies centered around Pokémon ex and can destroy the enemy bench somewhat easily. So, one of its main cards is Cyrus. He'll help you end the game and control the enemy board.
Countering the Meta - Arceus ex

Currently, the best way to counter the meta is this Arceus ex version, which, besides being immune to special conditions, plays 4 setup cards and a great tech card for Oricorio.
Komala is one of the best cards you can play against Oricorio nowadays, as it is one of the few cards in the game that can Knock it Out with just two energies. Your main strategy will be attaching energies to your Benched Komala with Magby, Pichu, or Mantyke, and then retreating these Pokémon to attack with Komala.
This list only uses Darkness energies to set up your Darkrai ex and deal damage to the opponent's active Pokémon through effects. Arceus ex is your main finisher and will get energies from Magby, Pichu, or Mantyke.
Espeon ex & Sylveon ex

This is one of the most efficient lists in the entire game right now, as well as one of the fastest.
It is one of the few decks that can consistently draw all 20 cards - practically in every match. This means you'll always have all the cards you need to win. It always has an answer to everything, so it is one of the hardest lists to face.
Despite creating a lot of value, it doesn't deal that much damage and struggles with Knocking Out opponents. As a result, you need to use your Sabrina and Cyrus wisely. You'll need them to get ahead in the game.
You should use your Eevee Bag to deal even more damage most of the time, as this list also plays lots of healing. You might need that extra 10 damage to Knock Out enemy Pokémon.
