IntroductionMega Venusaur ex + Ogerpon Teal Mask ex: Healer and TankerDecklistMega Venusaur ex: Main AttackerThe best thing about Mega Venusaur ex is its ability, Solar Transfer, which allows you to move Grass energies to this Pokémon and other attackers, like Teal Mask Ogerpon ex PRE 12 or even Tapu Lele-GX GRI 60.As for its main attack, Jungle Dump, it deals 240 damage and also heals it by 30 damage.Teal Mask Ogerpon exThis Ogerpon is pretty important for this strategy because its ability lets you attach a Grass energy from your hand to it and then draw a card.Besides giving you more resources, it also puts more energies in play, and then you'll be able to move them to another attacker.Recursive PokémonBaby PokémonVenusaur SLG 3's ability, Jungle Totem, doubles all Grass energies attached to your Pokémon.Mew UNB 76 will protect your bench from sniper damage. Please note that sniper damage isn't the same as spread damage. Mew UNB 76 protects your Pokémon from attackers like Greninja ex TWM 106, Kyogre SHF 21, Mega Starmie ex POR 21, and Greninja VUnion, for instance. But it won't protect you from Pokémon that deal spread damage, like Dragapult ex PRE 73 and Mew UNB 76.Rule Box PokémonRadiant Tsareena SIT 16's ability, Elegant Heal, heals all your Pokémon by 20 HP.Tapu Lele-GX GRI 60's ability, Wonder Tag, lets you look for a Supporter in your deck and put it in your hand if you play this Pokémon from your hand to the bench. As Tapu Lele-GX GRI 60 isn't weak to any Pokémon, you won't have to worry about it. It is also a decent attacker because its main attack deals 20 damage for each energy attached to both active Pokémon (not applying weakness or resistance). With Venusaur SLG 3's ability, you'll be able to get the energies you need to deal a lot of damage with Tapu Lele-GX GRI 60.TrainersSupportersArven sv3 186 lets you get one Item and one Tool from your deck.Lillie's Determination MEG 119 lets you shuffle your hand back into your deck and draw 6 new cards. If you have exactly 6 Prize cards left, you'll draw 8 cards instead.Iono sv2 185 will sabotage the opponent's hand and renew yours. Each of you will shuffle your hands back into your decks and then draw cards according to how many Prize cards each of you has.Guzma BUS 115 lets you pick a benched enemy Pokémon to pull into the active spot, and then you can swap your Pokémon as well.Acerola BUS 112 is a sort of "full heal". It will return a Pokémon and all cards attached to it to your hand as long as that Pokémon has any damage counters. It's a lot more efficient than Wally's Compassion MEG 132.ItemsItems to Get PokémonUltra Ball BRS 150 lets you get any Pokémon (basic or evolution) if you discard 2 cards from your hand.Battle VIP Pass FST 225 lets you get 2 basic Pokémon from your deck and put them directly on your bench. But you can only use it on your very first turn. After that, it doesn't do anything.Afterward, you can consider it a "dead card" and discard it with cards like Superior Energy Retrieval sv2 189 and/or Ultra Ball BRS 150.Bug Catching Set PRE 102 lets you look at the top 7 cards in your deck and get any 2 Grass Pokémon or Grass energies.Hisuian Heavy Ball ASR 146 lets you look for a basic Pokémon in your Prize card pile.Item to Filter and Get CardsTrainers' Mail lets you look at the top 4 cards in your deck and get any Trainers you find there, including Supporters, Items, Tools, and Stadiums.Item to HealThe combo includes playing it always on Mega Venusaur ex MEG 3. You'll lose all energies attached to it, but you can recycle them with Energy Recycler DRI 164 and return them to your deck. The safest option is to use Mega Venusaur ex MEG 3's ability before you use this item and then move your energies to another Pokémon.Items to Recycle Cards In GeneralVS Seeker PHF 109 is the most important out of these items because it lets you recycle 1 Supporter from your discard pile and put it in your hand.Energy Recycler DRI 164 lets you recycle up to 5 basic energies from your discard pile and shuffle them back in your deck.Sacred Ash DRI 168 lets you recycle up to 5 Pokémon from your discard pile and shuffle them back into your deck.Superior Energy Retrieval sv2 189 lets you recycle up to 4 basic energies from your discard pile and put them in your hand. But, to use it, you'll have to discard 2 cards. This will be great with Teal Mask Ogerpon ex PRE 12 because, if you have an energy in your hand, you'll be able to keep drawing cards with its ability.ToolThis card lets you evolve 2 of your benched Pokémon.StadiumsForest of Vitality MEG 117 lets you evolve a Grass Pokémon directly as long as you put that basic Pokémon in play on that same turn. You can't use this Stadium on your very first turn, though. It will be essential to evolve Bulbasaur into Venusaur.Life Forest ◇ LOT 180 heals one of your Grass Pokémon by 60 HP and removes all special conditions on it.ACE SPECThis ACE SPEC is considered a Tool. It gives an extra 100 HP to the Pokémon it is attached to, so if you put it on Mega Venusaur ex MEG 3, it will have 480 HP!Final WordsThis deck is all about healing and tanking damage, so, whenever possible, try to keep your Pokémon in play and make them as resilient as possible.Of course, against Fire archetypes, it will struggle because of the weakness. If you're up against Mega Charizard X ex PFL 13, it will do a lot of damage, enough to take out Mega Venusaur ex MEG 3, even if you attach Hero's Cape TEF 152 to it.Another suggestion is playing Meowth ex POR 62 as a support Pokémon. Finally, it also struggles to move Pokémon around because they cost a lot to retreat. What do you think?
