This Ninetales-EX GEN 13 card would benefit decks that focus on Fire-type Pokémon and energy acceleration, as its Flare Bonus ability allows for card draw by discarding Fire Energy. However, in the current metagame, there are more powerful Fire-type Pokémon cards available with stronger abilities and attacks, such as Reshiram & Charizard-GX. Therefore, Ninetales-EX GEN 13 may not see much play in competitive decks due to its lower power level compared to other options.
