Strategy
The Darkness deck in the Expanded format of the Pokemon TCG is focused on controlling the game with disruption and powerful Dark-type Pokemon. The strategy revolves around using cards like Absol, Honchkrow-GX, and Grimmsnarl VMAX to deal damage and disrupt your opponent's strategy. The deck has some strong points, including its ability to disrupt your opponent's hand with cards like Judge and Professor's Research. It also has good consistency with cards like VS Seeker and Trainers' Mail to quickly find the cards you need. Dark Patch is a great tool to quickly power up your Dark-type Pokemon by attaching Energy from the discard pile. However, the deck may struggle against Fire-type decks due to Weakness and should watch out for decks with high-energy denial strategies. Additionally, the deck might struggle against high-speed decks if it can't set up quickly. Overall, the Darkness deck is a solid choice for players who enjoy disruption and control strategies in the Expanded format of the Pokemon TCG.
