Lisia's Appeal SSP 246 can be particularly beneficial in a control or disruption-themed deck, as it allows you to manipulate your opponent's board state by forcing a Basic Pokémon into the Active Spot while inflicting Confusion, which can hinder their strategy. However, there are arguably better options like Guzma or Boss's Orders, which provide more versatility by allowing you to choose any Pokémon to bring to the Active Spot without the Confusion condition. While Lisia's Appeal has its niche, it may not see widespread play compared to these more flexible Supporter cards, unless the metagame specifically favors confusion mechanics or punishing opponents' Benched Pokémon.
