Shiftry-GX can be a valuable addition to a Grass-type deck that focuses on disruption and hand control strategies, as its attacks can capitalize on having the same number of cards as your opponent while also providing a powerful GX attack to disrupt your opponent's board. However, in a competitive setting, other Grass-type GX Pokémon like Decidueye-GX or Rillaboom-GX might offer more consistent and versatile options, making Shiftry-GX less likely to see play in top-tier decks.
