About Apricorn Forest AQ 118

Apricorn Forest AQ 118, Trainer - stadium, designed by Midori Harada first released in May, 2022 in the set Aquapolis. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 6.00.

A deck that focuses on quickly building up its Bench with Basic Pokémon of various types would benefit from using Apricorn Forest AQ 118, especially if it relies on specific Energy types for its strategy. However, there are better Stadium cards available that provide more consistent and powerful effects, such as Viridian Forest or Giant Hearth. While Apricorn Forest AQ 118 can be situationally useful, it may not be the optimal choice for competitive play due to its reliance on coin flips and potential for being easily replaced by other Stadium cards.

Rules

06/13/23

Once during each player's turn (before attacking), if that player's Bench isn't full, that player flips a coin. If heads, that player shows his or her opponent a basic Energy card from his or her hand. Then, that player searches his or her deck for a Basic Pokémon card of the same type (color) as the revealed Energy card and puts it onto his or her Bench. The player shuffles his or her deck afterward.
