Introduction
Including cards from Prismatic Evolutions, the Scarlet & Violet special set centered around "eeveelutions" that came out earlier this year, there are many unique Espeon in Pokémon TCG. So, today we'll see the most expensive Espeon, the Psychic eeveelution, of all time!
Please note we'll list what these expensive Espeon cost in USD. They're also the English versions.
Top 10 Most Expensive Espeon
10 - Espeon V (Sword/Shield: Evolving Skies - 180/203)

This Espeon was illustrated by sowsow, who also illustrated many expensive cards in the collector's market, like Gengar VMAX FST 271.
This Espeon V saw some play in Sword & Shield's Standard format because it deals more damage to enemy Pokémon V.
Price: 130 USD.
9 - Will's Espeon (VS Series - 076/141)

This card is from the VS set, which, like the previous set (Gym), focuses on "Trainer's Partners". In fact, Gym focused on Kanto gym leaders. As for VS, it introduced other characters, like the Johto Elite 4 and gym leaders, as well as new Kanto trainers, like the Kanto Elite 4, and many others.
This set was never available in the West, which makes it even more valuable and coveted among collectors. It also includes three different Psychic trainers: Sabrina, Annie, and Will, respectively. Sabrina is the Kanto gym leader, Annie is the villain from the 5th Pokémon movie, and Will is a member of the Johto Elite 4.

In the image above, you'll find the only Espeon from the "VS" set and their trainers: Sabrina, Will, and Annie, respectively.
Price: 250 USD.
8 - Espeon ex (Scarlet/Violet: Prismatic Evolutions 155/131)

This is the most recent Espeon in this article. It is from Scarlet & Violet's special set, Prismatic Evolutions, which focused on eeveelutions.
It was also illustrated by sui, who is a popular Pokémon artist known for their Mewtwo & Mew-GX PR-SM SM191 and others.
As this Espeon is a Terastal Stellar Pokémon, it stands out for its attack, Amazez, which costs three different energies but also devolves all your opponent's Pokémon.
Price: 280 USD.
7 - Espeon VMax (Sword/Shield: Fusion Strike - 270/264)

The regular Espeon VMax is from Sword & Shield's Evolving Skies, which also focused on eeveelutions. However, this secret art version was released later on in the Fusion Strike set.
It was illustrated by Kouki Saitou, a veteran Pokémon artist who created numerous cards for the TCG.
Espeon VMax's ability, Solar Revelation, is extremely powerful. It makes all your Pokémon immune to the effects of enemy attacks, as long as you attach at least one energy to them. This will prevent your opponent from Instant K.O.ing your Pokémon, for instance.
Its attack, Max Mindstorm, deals 60 damage for each energy attached to your opponent's Pokémon. As such, it is great against decks that use lots of energies at once.
Price: 290 USD.
6 - Espeon (e-Cards Series: Aquapolis - H09/H32)

This was the first "e-Card" ever released. "e-Cards" were a new card design - it included a "bar code" that you could then read with a Game Boy Advance.
It was relatively useful in Standard at the time. Its ability lets you return an energy attached to the opponent's active Pokémon to their hand, so it's a control tool.
Furthermore, its attack deals more damage according to how many damage counters the opponent's active Pokémon has. After you flip your coins, you'll deal more damage for each "heads" you get.
Price: 300 USD.
5 - Espeon (Black/White: Staff Promo Card, Regional Championships/League & Championship Cards - 48/108)

This card originally came out in Black & White's Dark Explorers set, but this version was only given out to staff at regional and international events. As such, it has the "staff" logo, which makes it more valuable.
Its ability inspired Espeon VMAX FST 270's ability. It also protects your Pokémon from effects like Instant K.O.s as long as you attach at least one energy to them.
Its main attack is also interesting because it forces your opponent to reveal their hand. With it, you'll be able to make a proper guess as to what they'll do next.
Price: 320 USD.
4 - Espeon (Wizards of the Coast Era: Neo Discovery, 1st Edition - 1/75)

This card was illustrated by Atsuko Nishida, one of the founding artists of the Pokémon franchise. They created several Kanto Pokémon, including Charmander and its evolutions and most eeveelutions.
This was the first Espeon ever released, as well as the first printed edition, so it's quite valuable among collectors.
Price: 350 USD.
3 - Espeon ex (Ruby/Sapphire: Unseen Forces - 102/115)

This was the first "Espeon ex". It was quite relevant in Ruby & Sapphire's Standard format from 2004 to 2005, and many players used it in World Championships at the time.
Its ability also lets you "devolve" one of your opponent's Pokémon when you evolve your Espeon ex from an Eevee.
Its attack, Psyloop was quite interesting too. It deals 60 base damage plus 10 extra damage for each Trainer your opponent played throughout the match.
Price: 420 USD.
2 - Dark Espeon (Wizards of the Coast Era: Neo Discovery, 1st Edition with Swirl - 4/105)

This was the first "corrupted" version of this Pokémon. It features Team Rocket's "Dark" mechanic, which first appeared in the Kanto base set and was introduced to Johto in the "Neo" sets.
It is more valuable than the others because it is a first edition print and features the "swirl" effect from the time: a sparkling spiral that occasionally showed up in foil cards back then.
Price: 900 USD.
1 - Espeon "Gold Star" (Ruby/Sapphire: POP Series 5 - 16/17)

This is the most expensive Espeon of all time, ever since it was released in the Pop Series promo boosters.
These boosters were available in Pokémon Company-licensed stores and local and international tournaments, similarly to the Prize Packs from nowadays.
It wasn't very useful competitively. In fact, it has become more of a collector's item since it was released in 2005.
Price: 4.425 USD.

Espeon-GX "Shiny" (Sun/Moon: Hidden Fates - SV60/SV94)

Price: 120 USD.
Espeon VMax (Prize Pack Series from "Sword/Shield: Fusion Strike" - 065/203)

Price: 125 USD.
