Un mazzo incentrato sui Pokémon di tipo Metallo e Oscurità trarrebbe vantaggio dall'inclusione della Valle Inversa per ridurre i danni subiti dai Pokémon Metallo e aumentare il danno inflitto dai Pokémon Oscurità. Tuttavia, carte Stadio più versatili come Santuario della Punizione o Campo Celeste potrebbero essere opzioni migliori a seconda della strategia specifica del mazzo. Reverse Valley potrebbe essere utilizzato in determinate situazioni in cui questi effetti sono particolarmente vantaggiosi.
