Magikarp B4b 059

Over Magikarp B4b 059

Magikarp B4b 059, Pokemon - basic, ontworpen door Yukiko Baba voor het eerst uitgebracht in september 2026 in de set Deluxe Pack: Mega.

Magikarp B4b 059 would only benefit a Water evolution deck built around Gyarados or another Pokémon that evolves from Magikarp, especially a casual deck with strong Water Energy acceleration, because its attack can skip the normal evolution requirement and randomly evolve it directly from the deck; however, paying three Energy for this effect on a fragile Basic Pokémon is far too slow and inconsistent for competitive play. A better choice is usually **Magikarp from Paldea Evolved (042/193)**, which has a much cheaper attack and is the preferred partner for **Gyarados ex** decks, or another Magikarp with a useful one-Energy attack depending on the format. B4b 059 should generally not see play outside of casual or gimmick evolution decks, since manually evolving a stronger Magikarp line while using Energy acceleration provides better tempo and reliability.
