Gallade-EX would fit well in a Psychic-type deck that focuses on manipulating the opponent's Pokémon and capitalizing on Prize card mechanics, making it effective in decks that can quickly reduce the opponent's remaining Prize cards while maintaining board control. Its Swift Lunge ability allows for strategic switching, which can disrupt the opponent's plans, while Piercing Prizes can deal significant damage as the game progresses.
