Introduction
Today, we'll show you how to play a list that, ever since it first came out, we've been saying would be a strong archetype: Jolteon ex.
This archetype only needed a strong Electric Pokémon to truly soar. Lately, Electric Pokémon have been getting a lot of support, particularly cards that help us set up Pokémon early on. These cards have made these lists quite fast.
Jolteon ex is the fastest deck in the meta and should be one of the best as well. Let's see how it works.
Jolteon ex - The Best Turn 1 In the Game

Pokémon Pocket is a very unique digital TCG, and that makes it difficult for us to classify each list as aggro, control, or combo.
In any case, Electric decks are always quite fast and are considered the most aggressive strategy the game can support. Out of all the Electric lists, this is certainly the fastest because it is the only one that puts a stage 1 Pokémon in the active spot on the very first turn.
You can evolve Eevee B1-184 on the first turn or the turn you play it. If you already have it and Jolteon ex in your hand on turn 1, Jolteon ex will be in your active spot on turn 1.
Without a question, this is the fastest deck in the game nowadays. However, it has a few issues and, as a result, is not the best.
But before we get into that, let's see its strengths.
Main Strategy and Strengths
The main idea behind this deck is to checkmate your opponent on the first few turns. You'll usually do this by summoning Jolteon ex on turn 1 and attacking with it on turn 2.
Currently, this is the only deck that deals 80 damage on turn 2, that is, without considering Jolteon ex's ability. In theory, if your opponent attaches an energy to their Pokémon, they'll take 100 damage in all, including Jolteon ex's attack and ability on turn 2.
The rest of the list is just cards that help you set up this combo, like Pokémon Communication, Volt Switch, and Copycat.
Zeraora is a target for Volt Switch: you'll play it on turn 1, get an energy for free, and then move it to Jolteon ex.
Weakenesses
This list might be the fastest, but it isn't one of the best in the game because if you can't set up the combo on turn 1, you'll probably lose.
You'll usually do it very consistently and nearly always be able to attack with Jolteon ex on turn 2. However, when you can't do that, you'll lose.
This list doesn't struggle against Sabrina or Cyrus, or even Repel, the most powerful cards in the meta. However, it loses to itself: if you don't draw your combo pieces, you can't win.
Tips and Tricks
Copycat is the most powerful card in this list. With it, you'll refill your entire hand. Because this deck has you play cards every second, you'll quickly run out of them.
Once again, it is fast, but it doesn't deal a lot of damage. As a result, only play Cyrus and pull an enemy Pokémon to the active spot if you are sure you can knock it out.
Jolteon ex's ability will prevent your opponent from attaching energies to vulnerable Pokémon on their bench. Punish them with Cyrus if they do this.
Only play Eevee if you have Jolteon ex in hand.
You can swap X-Speed for any other item you prefer, like Pokémon Communication or Sitrus Berry.
Because of the way this deck plays, this is one of the best lists to climb the ranked queue. Every game will be fast: you'll either win fast or lose just as fast.
If Jolteon ex dies, you'll hardly be able to come back into the match. In that case, you should just give up and go to the next game.
