Hello everybody.
It was announced this week some leaked scans of cards from the next base set, Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia, scheduled for August 1, 2025 in Japan and with an undefined date for the West.
The collection will initially bring a “Premium Box” in Japan with 10 boosters from the Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia collections, as well as a batch of “staples” cards for competitive play.

Collection Details
Cards from the set revealed so far
Mega Pokemon ex
Mega Venusaur ex

- Ability Solar Trans: On your turn, you can move one Basic Grass Energy sv2 278 from your Pokémon to another.
- Jungle Dump attack (G)(G)(G)(G): Deals 240 damage and heals 30 damage to Mega Venusaur ex.
Interestingly, his ability is the SAME as the classic Venusaur BS 15 from the Wizards of the Coast era, from the Classic Base Set.
Many are not paying attention to the potential of Yanmega ex DRI 3 (Destined Rivals), but this Pokémon will be vital in the energy of Mega Venusaur ex, as it is a heavy Pokémon that requires these “raw” grass energies in the requirement of its main attack.
Mega Gardevoir ex

- Attack Overflowing Wishes (P): depending on the amount of Pokémon on your bench, look for a Basic Psychic Energy sv3pt5 207 in your deck and attach it to that Pokémon. After that, shuffle your deck.
- Attack Mega Symphonia (P): deals 50x damage for each energy attached to all your Pokémon.
There is already an article on Cards Realm where I talk about the great potential of this Pokémon in the meta. You can check it out by clicking here using Mega Gardevoir ex in the Garde Box list.
Mega Lucario ex

- Attack Aura Jab (F): deals 130 damage and links up to 3 Basic Fighting Energy sv1 258 from the discard pile to your benched Pokémon however you like.
- Mega Brave Attack (F)(F): Deals 270 damage, and on the next turn you cannot use the Mega Brave attack.
The big problem with the card was just the effect of Mega Brave, which ”could not be used next turn”.
However, with the arrival of the tool Air Balloon SSH 213 as a REPRINT in the Black Bolt/White Flare special set in July, this will help solve the issue of the Pokémon's retreat cost. This will exempt the two colorless energies required, allowing you to retreat Mega Lucario ex and reset the effect of Mega Brave.
Plus, it's the perfect Pokémon to pair with the card. Cynthia's Garchomp ex DRI 104, whose second attack, Draconic Buster, describes the discarding of all energy attached to it. With this, the Pokémon (which has zero retreat cost) can retreat, allowing the loop to be repeated — as I explain in this article using Mega Lucario ex and Cynthia’s Garchomp ex in this synergy.
Mega Latias ex

- Strafe (C) attack: Deals 40 damage and switches this Pokémon with one of your Benched Pokémon.
- Attack Mirage Pulse (F)(P)(C): Deals 300 damage and discards all Energy attached to this Pokémon.

Lillie's Determination

Shuffle your hand back into the deck and draw 6 new cards. However, if you have 6 prize cards, you will draw 8 new cards instead of 6.
The premise of the card is a slight alteration of the card's effect Lillie SUM 122 from the Sun/Moon Base Set.
Wally's Compassion

Heal all damage from one of your Mega Pokémon ex (only 1). If you do, all Energy attached to that Pokémon will return to your hand.
Item
Premium Power Pro

Your Fighting Pokémon's damage is increased by 30 against the opposing Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).
This item will be very important for the Mega Lucario ex and Cynthia’s Garchomp ex, helping to close damage for knockouts with them.
Mega Signal

Search your deck for a Mega Pokémon ex, reveal it, and put it into your hand.
Stadium
Mystery Garden

During each player's turn, they may discard one Energy card from their hand. If they do, they may draw new cards based on the number of their Psychic Pokémon in play.
It's a perfect card for the Gardevoir Box.

Speculations on the future with new trademarks
There is also confirmation of two trademarks continuing with the Mega Evolution mechanic: Inferno X
and Ninja Spinner, respectively focused on Mega Charizard ex and Greninja. The expected release date for Inferno X is around September 26th.
On September 5, 2025, there will be 2 Starter Decks themed around Mega Gengar ex and Mega Diancie ex.
See you next time!
