Edit Article

Buckle up, because we already have a lot of information and speculation on what the rest of 2024 has for us. Yes, we're talking about the rest of the Scarlet & Violet block and new Japanese sets; we even know the names of a few of them because they've already been trademarked. Additionally, the Night Wanderer set was released in Japan on June 7th, 2024. It will be released in the west as Shrouded Fable around August 2nd, 2024.

In this article, we'll go through a few confirmed trademarks, like Stellar Miracle, Paradise Dragona, Super Electric Breaker, Glory of Rocket, and Terastal Festival. We'll also show you a few products already available in the east, like ”Battle Master Deck: Charizard ex Terastal & Chien-Pao ex”, as they all might be released in the west. Finally, we'll explore a few spoilers of new Chinese artworks from Pokémon GO, which will also be released soon.

All Rumored Sets for the Rest of 2024

Night Wanderer / Shrouded Fable

Image content of the Website

Night Wanderer focuses on the Loyal Three, the Kitakami guardian "warriors". This is the Paldea region where the events of The Teal Mask DLC are set. In reality, these warriors were villains led by Pecharunt, and only a few know their real identity. Most of the island considers them the heroes, and Ogerpon the villain.

They'll be the main stars of the new set.

Stellar Miracle / Stellar Crown

We already know a bit about the Stellar Miracle set because of a "trademark" found on January 8, 2024. I even mentioned it in this article as an honorable mentionlink outside website.

We now have a few more details regarding this product. It will be released in Japan soon, on July 19th, 2024, and in the West on 09/13/2024, so we'll have a better look at it then. What we know now is that it will focus on Terapagos ex's Terastal form.

Here are a few "leaks", posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), of some cards with this mechanic:

Now, I'll show you what we know about Teraspagos ex Terastal and the ACE SPEC tool that will support the Terastal archetype.

Terapagos ex

Basic Pokémon.

Union Beat (C)(C): If you go second, you can't use this attack during your first turn. This attack does 30 damage for each of your Benched Pokémon.

Crown Opal (G)(W)(L): this attack deals 180 damage and prevents all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from Basic non-colorless Pokémon.

ACE SPECS in This Set

Here's the essential ACE SPEC tool we'll play with Terapagos:

Image content of the Website

Sparkling Crystal: its effect states, "attacks of the Tera Pokémon this card is attached to cost 1 less of any type of Energy (but only 1 Energy at a time). This means it will be easier for you to set up Terapagos ex if you can't find a specific type of energy.

And, of course, we also have a Stadium that buffs its first attack because it gives you one extra bench slot:

Image content of the Website

- Stadium - Area Zero Underdepths: if you have a Terastal Pokémon in play (this applies to both players), you can have up to 8 bench slots instead of 5. When this card leaves play or when a player doesn't have a Terastal Pokémon anymore, they'll have to discard their extra slots until they have 5 Pokémon on their bench.

The other one that was revealed is this stadium:

- Stadium - Great Big Tree: valid for both players -- if there is a basic Pokémon already on the field, this player can look for its “stage 1” evolution card and place it on that Pokémon as an instant evolution step. But, if this player did this action, they can also look for a “stage 2” evolution card of that Pokémon (if there is the correct line) and evolve it again (players will not be able to do this on the first turn when placing their basic Pokémon or from the moment they put that basic Pokémon into play).

This card is nothing less than the rescue (as a “reprint”, but conditioned as an ACE SPEC) of the old “staple” card from the Diamond/Pearl era, the stadium Broken Time-Space PL 104, very strong at the time of the block.

Paradise Dragona

Image content of the Website

This set focuses on Dragons, and might even bring us a few Pokémon from Paldea's Pokédex we still haven't seen in Pokémon TCG, like Archadulon and Hydrapple.

The community speculates that this will be a special set for this archetype, similar to what Dragon Vault was in Black/White and Dragon Majesty was in Sun/Moon.

Super Electric Breaker

Known as "Supercharged Breaker", this set also popped up with Paradise Dragona. It will probably focus on Electric staples, apparently.

The Glory of Rocket

Image content of the Website

This set first appeared as "ロケット団の栄光" in Japan, and will focus on the return of Team Rocket, similar to what happened with Ruby/Sapphire in the past.

Image content of the Website

The question is whether this set will bring Pokémon with hybrid types, like the Darkness archetype (as it was before), and whether it'll bring back Pokémon that have been "corrupted" by Team Rocket, with a "Dark" title and cards that focus on these mechanics. These can be "Team Rocket"-inspired Poké-Balls, Stadiums, other Technical Machines, and much more.

Most fans speculate it will be released in Japan in late 2024.

Terastal Festival

Image content of the Website

This set also got a name in Japan first, テラスタルフェス, and will be a High Class Pack set. As a result, there are a few theories about it floating around:

> It might be similar to the Japanese set All Stars TAG TEAM, but for Terastal Pokémon.

> Or similar to what was Crown Zenith in Sword/Shield.

And it was leaked on 06/27/2024, spoilers that the collection will focus on Eeveelutions with Terastal mechanics:

We'll have to wait and see.

Its release in Japan is predicted to late 2024, maybe around December 6th..
