8 - Mega Kangaskhan ex (Secret Illustration Rare - 181/132)

This card was illustrated by GOTO minori, a recently hired Pokémon artist. They have only created 10 cards so far.

Its cartoonish style and flat colors make it unique and lively. Kangaskhan, a nostalgic Pokémon from Kanto, has a dedicated fan base as well.

Its attack resembles the X & Y: Flashfire version. This card will also have you flip coins until you get "tails" and deal more damage for each "heads" you get.

7 - Lillie's Determination (Secret Illustration Rare - 184/132)

This card is quite useful in competitive decks because it draws lots of cards.

Its effect lets you shuffle your hand back into your deck and draw 6 new cards. However, if you have exactly 6 Prize cards left, you'll draw 8 cards instead of 6.

It was illustrated by satoma, who competed at the 2022 Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest and has already created 20 cards for Pokémon TCG, including the well-received Cresselia SFA 71.

6 - Mega Latias ex (Secret Illustration Rare - 181/132)

It's clear Mega Venusaur ex will be incredibly popular among collectors because it is a Kanto Pokémon. Because of all the nostalgia surrounding it, it will certainly become even more valuable as time goes on.

As for its role in the actual TCG, Mega Venusaur ex is relevant in the meta because of all the Grass support seeing play right now, like Meganium MEG 10 and Yanmega ex DRI 3. These two cards let you attach Grass energies to your Pokémon for very few resources.

3 - Mega Gardevoir ex (Secret Illustration Rare - 178/132)

Mega Gardevoir ex stands out for its artwork, which features Art Nouveau elements and mosaics and actually shows its evolution line around the corners.
