Introduction
The Eeevee Grove meta is practically resolved, so we can already easily pinpoint the strongest decks in the format.
This meta is, unfortunately, extremely polarized, so very few decks see play competitively. The current lists are, mostly, old decks with new, stronger cards that complement them.
As such, the new Pokémon ex and new Pokémon overall aren't strong enough to take the meta by assault. Nearly all the new Pokémon ex are very unpopular right now.
In this article, we'll show you the strongest decks right now, both for the ranked queue and grassroot tournaments. So, let's go!
The White Elephant in the Room - Sylveon ex & Giratina ex with Greninja

This is the strongest deck in the format right now. It is an updated version of the archetypes that deal "damage through effects" to the enemy Bench with Greninja. This list plays one copy of Giratina ex as well, which is still the best in the game and acts as an alternative or main win condition if you draw it in your opening hand.
The most important card in this list is Sylveon ex, one of the best cards in the game right now. Its card draw ability is incredibly powerful, in fact. Though Sylveon ex only deals 70 damage, which is very little, it makes up for this weakness by drawing cards and thus making your deck a bit more consistent.
This deck plays Water energies as well. You can attach them to your Greninja and use his attack as an alternative win condition.
All the Pokémon in this list, except for Giratina ex, don't deal a lot of damage. However, because of their abilities, this deck is extremely consistent and draws a lot of cards. They make this list one of the fastest in the entire game.
The Deck that Never Leaves the Meta - Giratina ex & Darkrai ex with Nihilego

This list has been at the top of the meta for three sets in a row, and, whenever another one comes out, it only gets better.
The most recent addition is Nihilego, which is a great card for mirror matches and also an alternative win condition. It can also be a "Poison engine", as it makes Poison Barb deal even more damage.
Aside from Nihilego, this deck is still the same, and also still uses the same game plan: you'll attach Darkness energies to Darkrai ex, deal damage to the opponent, and use Giratina ex to attach even more energies.
It is quite intuitive, as well as one of the easiest decks to pilot in the meta. It is certainly one of the most powerful lists in the entire game.
Ultrabeasts Are Still Powerful - Buzzswole & Ultrabeasts

One of the few archetypes in the meta that doesn't play Giratina ex nor deals "damage through effects" is this Buzzswole ex / Ultrabeast list.
The main idea behind this deck is dealing a lot of damage with Buzzswole ex, then swapping it from the active spot and putting one of your benched Ultrabeasts in its place with Celesteela's effect.
Pheromosa and Kartana only need 1 Grass energy to attack, and, as such, you'll have no trouble using them. When Buzzswole ex's "can't attack" debuff wears out, you'll once again swap your Pokémon with Celesteela's effect. This way, you'll keep your Buzzswole ex healthy and still be quite aggressive.
This deck is incredibly strong because, besides swapping Pokémon for free, it also plays all the Grass cards that heal HP, including Leaf Cape. Currently, the most powerful support cards in the game are the Grass support cards, and they should remain so for a good while still.
Other Strong But Low-Tier Decks
Currently, the best lists in the game are the 3 decks above. These lists are featured in nearly 75% of all matches played in grassroot tournaments. The rest of the decks perform decently, but are not strong enough to make the cut.
Charizard ex & Sylveon ex

This deck combines Charizard ex with Sylveon ex. However, this Eeveelution can only draw cards in this list because it doesn't play any Psychic energies.
Sylveon ex card draw ability is really helpful in this deck because, previously, it really struggled with bricks. It easily ran out of cards to play.
It also plays one copy of Flareon as an alternative win condition in case all else fails.
Guzzlord & Nihilego

This list directly counters Giratina ex lists, but it loses a bit to decks that deal damage through effects.
As Giratina ex lists deal damage through effects, Guzzlord ex became a regular matchup for Giratina ex, and both decks can end up winning. You'll only be ahead if your opponent opens with Giratina ex in the active spot.
