New Deck Suggestions with Stellar Crown

Terapagos Stellar Terastal ex + Origin Forme Palkia VStar

Loading icon

This deck's strategy centers around putting Terapagos ex SCR 128 in play to activate Area Zero Underdepths SCR 131's effect, which is the following: any player who has Terastal Pokémon in play now has eight slots on their bench instead of five.

After that, we'll use Terapagos ex SCR 128's attack, Unified Beatdown, which deals 30 damage for each Pokémon on your bench. Then, with Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR PR-SW SWSH254's attack, Subspace Swell, we'll deal 60 + 20 damage for each Pokémon on each players' bench. If all 16 slots are occupied, we'll deal a devastating 380 damage!

Ad

To protect Terapagos ex SCR 128, we'll use Bouffalant SCR 119 and its ability. With at least two copies of it on the board, Terapagos ex SCR 128 takes 60 less damage.

As the final attacker, we can use Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex TWM 141.

Hisuian Zoroark VStar + Terapagos Stellar Terastal ex (Version 1)

With this deck, we'll also use Terapagos ex SCR 128's combo to activate Area Zero Underdepths SCR 131, but this time we also play Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR PR-SW SWSH298 and its attack, Tricking Curse. This attack does 50 damage for each of your Pokémon that has any damage counters on it. Like so, if your 8 benched Pokémon have at least one damage counter, Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR PR-SW SWSH298 will deal 400 damage for just two colorless energies!

To put even more damage counters in play, we have Dodrio sv3pt5 85 and its ability, Zooming Draw. With this ability, once per turn, we'll put one damage counter on Dodrio, and draw a card. We can then move them with Damage Pump LOR 156.

Hisuian Zoroark VStar + Terapagos Stellar Terastal ex (Version 2)

This deck works similarly to the combo version that plays Terapagos ex SCR 128 and Area Zero Underdepths SCR 131, but it includes a few cards to buff Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR PR-SW SWSH298's attacks even more.

For instance, Dodrio sv3pt5 85 and its ability, Zooming Draw, and Gengar LOR 66 and its ability, Netherworld Gate. We can also move any damage counters on our Pokémon with Damage Pump LOR 156.

Furthermore, Munkidori TWM 95's ability, Adrena-Brain also lets us move damage counters, but only if you attach a Basic Darkness Energy SFA 98 to it.

Then, we added a "tougher" Pokémon, with more HP: Blissey ex TWM 134, which, with its ability, lets us transfer basic energies in between turns. This is ideal to set up the combo with Munkidori TWM 95 and Basic Darkness Energy SFA 98, and it also deals 180 damage and draws us up to 6 cards.

Hisuian Zoroark VStar + Arceus VStar + Terapagos Stellar Terastal ex

Loading icon

This deck's game plan is putting Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR PR-SW SWSH298 in play and setting it up for the "late game". Ideally, you'll also set up Arceus VSTAR PR-SW SWSH307 first to use its VStar ability, Starbirth. Then, all you have to do is attack the enemy Pokémon with its Trinity Nova and attach energies to any of your Pokémon V in play, namely Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR PR-SW SWSH298 and Pidgeot V LOR 137.

And we'll also use the Terapagos ex SCR 128 combo to activate Area Zero Underdepths SCR 131!

Remember, Pidgeot V LOR 137 is only effective if Area Zero Underdepths SCR 131 is in play.

Emolga TWM 69, in turn, is only useful because it deals 10 damage to all Pokémon in play (ours and the opponent's), so it helps Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR PR-SW SWSH298 in the long term.

Charizard ex Terastal - Upgrade com Stellar Crown

This deck includes Rabsca TEF 24 and its ability, Spherical Shield, which prevents all damage from and effects of enemy attacks, so it is immune to Pokémon like Dragapult ex TWM 130. It also protects it from enemy attacks with Technical Machine: Devolution sv4 177.

We use Mawile LOR 71 and its attack, Tempting Trap to stop our opponent from retreating their Pokémon.

Briar SCR 132 is also essential, as it is great with Charizard ex sv4pt5 54: if it knocks out an enemy Pokémon, you'll get one extra Prize card.

Cinderace Stellar Terastal ex (Version 1)

Loading icon

Cinderace ex SCR 28 is one of the easiest Stellar Terastal Pokémon to set up, and its attack, Garnet Volley is also quite easy to use because of Infernape svp 116's ability, Pyro Dance. Then, all you need to do is to attach Basic Darkness Energy SFA 98 to it on that turn to use its attack.

We can also use Munkidori TWM 95 and its ability, Adrena-Brain, to gain more time.

Cinderace Stellar Terastal ex (Version 2)

This strategy is different: Duskull SFA 18's entire evolution line (Dusclops SFA 19 and Dusknoir SFA 20) is great to knock out enemy Pokémon with Cinderace ex SCR 28 because of their shared ability: Cursed Blast.

Unlike other versions, we'll have to attach energies to Cinderace ex SCR 28 manually and therefore slower. And we'll rely on Double Turbo Energy ASR 216.

Galvantula Stellar Terastal ex

Loading icon

This deck was designed to deal with Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR PR-SW SWSH254, which will soon be popular because of Stellar Terastal Terapagos ex, and Lugia VSTAR SIT 139 "techs" as well.

Galvantula's first attack, Charged Web, gives us more than enough, as it deals extra damage against Pokémon ex and V: a total of 220 damage.

Our second attacker is Blissey ex TWM 134, which, besides allowing us to move energies around, also draws us cards.

Then, Joltik SCR 50's attack helps us attach energies to our Pokémon.

If we end up facing any troublesome abilities, we can play Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon ex TWM 112.

Medicham ex + Cornerstone Ogerpon ex + Alolan Vulpix VStar

Loading icon

This deck first lowers the enemy Pokémon's HP and then knocks them out. It's quite fast too, take a look at the main combo:

1) Medicham ex SCR 80's attack, Chi-Atsu, sets the enemy Pokémon's HP to 50.

2) Once their HP is low enough, we have many options:

- We can use Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon ex TWM 112 if our opponent is using Pokémon abilities.

- We can use Wellspring Mask Ogerpon ex TWM 64 as a "sniper" attacker and deal not only 100 damage to the opponent's active Pokémon but also 120 damage to their benched Pokémon. Then, we can set up a new combo cycle in the next few turns.

- Finally, we can use Alolan Vulpix VSTAR SIT 34, which, besides dealing 160 damage, is immune to any enemy abilities. Its VStar attack also deals damage to all enemy Pokémon V in play.

To attach energies, we have Baxcalibur PR-SV 19, which is the heart of this deck's energy setup.

Glimmora Box

Loading icon

Glimmora ex sv3 123's ability, Dust Field, limits our opponent's bench to three slots, and thus completely counters Area Zero Underdepths SCR 131.

Ad

The idea is simple: lock down our opponent by forcing them to discard their energies with Crushing Hammer sv1 168 and limit their bench with Glimmora ex sv3 123's ability. Then, we'll Poison their Pokémon with Radiant Hisuian Sneasler LOR 123 and Perilous Jungle TEF 156. Finally, we'll stop them from retreating with Gravity Gemstone SCR 137.

Hydrapple ex

Loading icon

This deck focuses on knocking out Charizard ex sv4pt5 54 because of its weakness to the Grass archetype.

However, if possible, getting as many Grass energies as we can with our Pokémon is also a great idea because of its attack, Syrup Storm. It can knock out even meta Pokémon: we just need 11 Basic Grass Energy sv2 278 in play to deal 330 damage!

So, to set this up, we play teal-mask-ogerpon-ex-twm-25 and its ability, Teal Dance, which lets us attach one Basic Grass Energy sv2 278 from our hand to Ogerpon and then draws us two cards.

It is a very practical deck if you want to start playing Pokémon TCG with Stellar Crown.

Lightning Box - Upgrade com Stellar Crown

Loading icon

We'll activate the Area Zero Underdepths SCR 131 combo with Mewtwo ex sv4 58, which is a Terastal Pokémon. However, that's the only reason why we use it, as we need Psychic energies to use its attack and, as you can see, this list doesn't include any of those.

Once the next set, Surging Sparkslink outside website, comes along, as well as the new Stellar Terastal Pikachu ex, this deck will be a lot stronger.

This deck takes advantage of the fact we'll have eight bench slots to deal even more damage with Raikou V BRS 48, which is the main attacker.

To put these Electric Pokémon in play as fast as possible, we'll need Miraidon ex PR-SV 28 and its ability, Tandem Unit. With them, we'll be able to find Electric Generator sv1 170 and attach Basic Lightning Energy sv1 257 to our benched Electric Pokémon.

Highlights:

Rotom V CRZ 45 which we can also use as an attacker. For instance, if our tools are in our discard pile, we can use its attack to send them to the Lost Zone and deal 40 damage for each card we sent.

Tapu Koko ex sv4 68 and its attack, Vengeful Shock, are also great: if any of our Pokémon were knocked out in the previous round, we'll deal 30 + 90 damage with it and our opponent's active Pokémon will be Paralyzed. This means they won't be able to attack or retreat manually by discarding their energies. They'll have to use Switch items.

Water Box - Upgrade com Stellar Crown

This deck also plays Area Zero Underdepths SCR 131 + Mewtwo ex sv4 58 and the Electric archetype, but it focuses on the Area Zero Underdepths SCR 131 + Eiscue ex sv3 42 combo. In this case, Eiscue ex sv3 42 is the central piece.

Ad

As Eiscue ex sv3 42 becomes a Fire Terastal Pokémon, it is great against "techs" like Hydrapple ex SCR 14, Espathra ex sv4pt5 6 and teal-mask-ogerpon-ex-twm-25 (very popular in decks with Regidrago VSTAR SIT 136 and Raging Bolt ex svp 145).

Highlights:

Kyogre CRZ 36 is a "sniper" attacker that lets us deal 180 damage to any enemy Pokémon in play.

Wellspring Mask Ogerpon ex TWM 64 is also a "sniper" attacker and deals even more damage: it deals 100 damage to the enemy Active Pokémon and 120 damage to a benched enemy Pokémon.

Finally, Alolan Vulpix VSTAR SIT 34 is immune against Pokémon with ability for a few turns.
