Scarlet & Violet: Stellar Crown - Top 10 Most Expensive Cards

Stellar Crown has been officially released (as of September 13th, 2024)! We finally know how much these cards cost.

10 - Bravery Charm (Gold Full Art/Hyper Rare - 175/142)

This tool is perfect if you like Gold Full Art styles, particularly if you play one of these two types of decks: "control/stall" decks with Snorlax PGO 55, and Gardevoir ex sv4pt5 233's deck with Drifloon sv4pt5 155 and Scream Tail sv4 86.

Price: US$20.

9 - Dachsbun ex (Secret Illustration Rare - 169/142)

This Pokémon is not that great in a competitive setting, not in Standard nor Expanded.

It earned a spot in our list because it is in a "secret art" style and is indeed very beautiful. This Pokémon looks like a dog and is shaped after a bread bun, and, as it is featured in a picnic in this card, it's very fitting.

Price: US$22.

8 - Area Zero Underdepths (Gold Full Art/Hyper Rare - 174/142)

This card is one of the highlights of this set, and is an extremely strong Stadium. It completely revolutionized the current metagame, as it gives your board an extra 3 slots, so you'll have 8 slots instead of 5 if you play any Terastal Pokémon ex. This card is also perfect for Terapagos ex SCR 170, or any other decks that play Terastal Pokémon.

Price: US$28.70.

7 - Terapagos ex (Gold Full Art/Hyper Rare - 173/142)

In our seventh place, we have Terapagos ex SCR 173 and its first attack, but the reason it earned a spot in our list is because it is in a Gold Full Art style.

Price: US$30.

6 - Briar (Secret Illustration Rare - 171/142)

Out of all the Supporters in this set, this is the most effective one and fits many decks. It is practically a "staple".

You can only play its effect if your opponent has exactly two Prize cards remaining. If they do, and if any of your Terastal Pokémon ex or Stellar Terastal Pokémon ex knocks out an enemy Pokémon with any attack, you'll draw an extra Prize card.

Price: US$35.

5 - Hydrapple ex (Secret Illustration Rare - 167/142)

This card was clearly inspired by the Fauvism art style, which originated in France at the beginning of the 20th century.

Hydrapple ex SCR 167 also "counters" Charizard ex sv4pt5 54 because the Dark archetype is vulnerable against the Grass archetype.

Price: US$38.

4 - Bulbasaur (Illustration Rare - 143/142)

This card was beautifully illustrated by the iconic artist Orca. It is the first time they create an Illustration Rare style for the Pokémon Company.

Originally, in Japan, this card was included in the Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex. In the west, it was included in the Stellar Crown set.

Price: US$40.

3 - Squirtle (Illustration Rare - 148/142)

Just like Bulbasaur SCR 143, this card was included in the Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex in Japan, originally. In the west, it was included in the Stellar Crown set.

It was illustrated by Saboteri, who recently begun working for the Pokémon Company.

Price: US$45.

2 - Lacey (Secret Illustration Rare - 172/142)

This card was illustrated by Souichirou Gunjima. Its role in the game is to draw you cards consistently throughout the match, and it is very useful.

Price: US$72.

1 - Terapagos ex (Secret Illustration Rare - 170/142)

In our first place, we have the highlight of this set: Terapagos ex SCR 170, and this beautiful artwork created by Saboteri.

They created a background with pieces of rocks that form a mosaic and give a lot of charm to the entire card. They look like Portuguese cobblestones, but also like glass, like a "glass stained" background similar to Art Nouveau.

Price: US$140.
