Introduction
In today's article, we'll bring back a few forgotten VMax eeveelutions and try to make them work in Expanded.
Let's start with Eevee and its synergy with Lugia VStar+ Archeops!
Eevee VMax
Decklist
Eevee V & Eevee VMax: The Main Attackers

Eevee V PR-SW SWSH065 has two excellent attacks:
- Collect draws three cards.
- Brave Buddies deals extra damage if you play a Supporter on the same turn, and can deal up to 160 damage.

In the best-case scenario, if you use four Powerful Colorless Energy DAA 176, you'll deal an extra 80 damage: 240 damage in total!
As for Eevee VMAX PR-SW SWSH087, it stands out because of its attack, G-Max Cuddle, which deals 150 damage and can prevent your opponent from attacking if they fail their coin toss. With four Powerful Colorless Energy DAA 176, you'll deal 230 damage in total with this Pokémon!
Lugia V & Lugia VStar: The Deck's Engine and First Attacker

Lugia V is critical early on, as its first attack, Read the Wind, lets you draw three cards if you discard a card (like Archeops PR-SW SWSH272). This is a way to put your game plan in motion.
As for Lugia VStar, it stands out because of its ability, Assemble Star, which lets you get two colorless Pokémon without any Rule Box from the discard pile and add them to your bench.
The main idea is to discard Archeops PR-SW SWSH272 as fast as you can, and then use its ability, Primal Turbo, which lets you get up to two special energies from your deck and attach them to any Pokémon. This way, Lugia VStar will also be a powerful attacker - its attack, Storm Dive, will deal up to 300 damage with Powerful Colorless Energy DAA 176.
Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex: End-Game Attacker

Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex TWM 141 is great in the endgame. Its ability makes its attack, Blood Moon, cheaper according to how many Prize cards your opponent has taken.
For instance, if your opponent took several Prize cards, its main attack might deal 240 damage for just one energy. With four Powerful Colorless Energy DAA 176, you'll deal up to 320 damage!
Recursive Pokémon

- Tapu Lele-GX CEL 60: its ability, Wonder Tag, lets you get a Supporter when you put it on your bench. It can also be a secondary attacker, as it deals damage according to how many energies are in play, both yours and the opponent's.
- Dunsparce FST 207: protects colorless Pokémon from their weaknesses.
- Dudunsparce TEF 129: recycles cards from your deck, so it makes it more consistent. It also protects Dunsparce.

Advantages
As the colorless type doesn't have an advantage over any other archetype in the TCG, you need to put Dunsparce FST 207 in play to make other Pokémon have no weaknesses.
Weaknesses
- This archetype is weak against the Fighting and Electric archetypes.
- It is also vulnerable to spread or snipe decks.
- It relies on Archeops PR-SW SWSH272
- Finally, it struggles against Arceus, Palkia, and Dialga TAG TEAM GX.
Final Words
To play this deck well, you need to know how and when to discard Archeops PR-SW SWSH272 and how to use special energies.
It is by no means a deck for beginners, but it is rewarding if you enjoy advanced but consistent Expanded strategies.
